Modera delivered a new digital solution for Nissan

In January 2024, Nissan Nordic Europe introduced the automotive agent model in Sweden and chose software company Modera to deliver the new solution.

As Sweden is putting a strong focus on digitalization, subscription solutions and electric vehicles, it was the ideal pilot market for the new agent model.

With the agency model, the dealer network became agents acting on behalf of Nissan. Their role as the main contact point for customers booking test drives or requiring information remained, with the added tasks of vehicle deliveries on behalf of Nissan and aftermarket services.

The solution was integrated with Nissan’s online and backend systems, as well as financing and insurance and other third-party tools to deliver a comprehensive multichannel retail experience for Nissan customers.

Today, the new solution is used by the Nissan regional business unit and its agents in a total of 43 locations around Sweden to conduct their daily business.

Implementation process

According to Janek Prümmel, Member of the Board at Modera, implementing the new solution was a challenging but rewarding project and the automotive software provider is glad to see the solution being in live use in Sweden. “We are extremely grateful to Nissan for choosing Modera to be their partner on this journey.
